Audco is a leading manufacturer of cast gate, globe
and check valves for the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical
industries. The company is jointly owned by Larsen &
Toubro Limited (L&T) in India and the Flowserve
Corporation, USA.
AIL's manufacturing operations commenced
in 1962 and over the last four decades the company has
expanded to cater to the needs of the global market.
Today they have three independent modern manufacturing
plants capable of producing thousands of valves per
month. The main plant is at Manapakkam, Chennai (Madras)
in the Southern part of India. The other two plants
are at MM Nagar, 40 kms south and at Kancheepuram, 70
kms west of the main plant at Chennai.
The Quality Management System at AIL
has been the cornerstone for many of its success stories
in the international market. The QM System has been
assessed by independent inspection agencies worldwide.
AIL has ISO 9001:2000 Certification and API 6A and API
6D licenses. AIL Valves are supplied with CE Marking
for the EU market as per PED regulation. The company
has major approvals from most end users across the oil
and gas industries.
